Jake sucked his bottom lip under his top teeth and tilted his head at Strider, not understanding what he was getting at, but he did pull another leaf off of Dirk's shoulder.

"That seems like it would be a good plan?"

He glanced up at the sky again and turned towards the way they had came.

"Time to get moving though! Can you keep up?"

He laughed and took off leaping over a fallen tree.
